Old Gum Tree

Today brings a change of scenery. I was rummaging around the stamping drawers and found one of the very first stamps I ever bought and decided to condition it with these results.

The image is a Print Blocks one and is stamped in StazOn black. It has been coloured using Tombows. (Who still has Tombows??). The gum leaves stamped in the background are from the now defunct Stamp World and the wording is from SU.

I love the barbed wire ribbon and have been itching to use it on a card. What better way than with a tumbled down fence image!

Colour Magic Card

Afternoon Everyone,

Here is my colour magic card, completed as a challenge for my Rubber Bombshells Blogging Group. I wasn't happy with the front piece, but it IS going to a little girl who loves flowers so it will appeal to her, if not to me.

I haven't made one of these for ages so it was fun to revisit the construction. I do mine slightly differently to what you will find online, as in I anchor my image so it cannot be pulled free of the card itself. I didn't like the instructions where this happens...so I had to change them. Fancy me changing things!

Stamps: Print Blocks Girls, SU Upsy Daisy Wording Inks: StazOn Black Cardstock: Bazzill Other: Acetate, DSFT, Paper Flowers, Brads, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities Long Rectangles, Gold Peel Offs, Stamp Positioner
