Journal Book

Good morning everyone,

What a fine morning it is here in Canberra.

Today, I am sharing with you the journal we made at stamp camp over the weekend just gone. Julie Van Oosten from Collections was our very gracious tutor who kept us hopping all weekend. Us out of staters were given our very own little gift of Collections stuff for making the long trip to camp! Julie specialises in working with chipboard, ephemera and bibs and bobs to come up with the most stunning olde worlde projects.

This was our major project for the weekend and we sat up to midnight on Saturday night in order to finish it. I think it is pretty cool. I have just photoed some of the main pages in the journal to give you a feel for what we were playing with. What do you think?

I am going to become a retailer of Julie's as soon as I get the paperwork in order, as well :)

Nostalgia Camp ATC

Hi everyone,

Whilst you read this, I will be off playing in the snow for the first time. I am sooo excited to finally go to the snowfields...Grace says I am not allowed to whinge about the cold or she is going to slap me...Now, This MAY be sound advice, but I can see a snowball or two as revenge if she comes anywhere near me!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL. We have toboggans to lay with too...Have a full couple of thousand on the camera to use up, so I am all set. We are hiring all the cold gear, which we are just about to go and collect.

This is my ATC for camp. I have made 40 of them and need to scrounge another few primitive heart brads to completely have them done and dusted. Love the photoart stamp from Stampsmith. Yummy!

Fingers crossed the auto post works.

Enjoy!

Cards from Rachel Grieg Camp

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to show you a series of cards I made at stamp camp. Horrors!!! I have not stamped a single one!!!! We were playing with some of Rachel's great filmstrips adding colour, using glossy accents with them in bottletops and generally having a grand old time.

You can view Rachel's products here http://www.darkroomdoor.com/ .
