Must see Demo

I was visiting Louise's http://www.punknscrap.com/ great site when I came across a post referencing the sharpening of punches. Now sharpening punches has been a royal pain in times past, but this lady, http://lindastamps.wordpress.com/2008/11/09/stampbusters-sharpening-your-punches-with-soda-cans/ has an interesting way of attacking it! Worth a go if your punch is at death's door...Nothing to lose, and hey, it really does look like it works.

I have been blog hopping all morning doing some catching up since I had the busiest of weekends ...beginning on Friday, and intend to post something this afternoon!

Stay tuned.

Ohhhh...there's much, much more you can do with a tin can Michelle... you can cuttle it for a really cool look, too. And depending on what you cut out, you can use the pieces as accents... And I agree with her, it really does seem to help sharpen the punches...and my guillotine cutter too.

ooooh guillotine too...I think I just may try that one. I have a few techs to do with metal shim...which can be replaced by the good old tin...metal shim is darned expensive, where the soft drink tin is el cheapo!

Thanks for telling me about the guilltine!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting this fabulous tip, Michelle! I definitely need to do this with a lot of my punches! I will let you know how it turns out! Hopefully I will not cut a finger off! :)
