Windshield Wiper Card

Good morning ladies,

Here is a windshield wiper card I made yesterday. Cheryll thinks it isn't good enough...there should be a video showing me opening and shutting it with great glee watching the wipers do their thing! I agree with her that it misses something just as a flat photo....but no way am I putting a video of my mug up here!

For those who do not know what a windshield wiper does....when you open and shut the card, the two little wipers (flaps here with the Cheers Chick and Red Wine Glass) work just like wipers on a car. Really cool to see actually.

It isn't QUITE finished....I have to go snaffle a scallop punch from someone to layer under the wording "Aged perfectly".

All colouring was done with Prisma Pencils and Derwent Watercolours with Odourless Mineral Solvent. I also paper pieced the roof with Kaiser Paper scraps.

What do you think?

Cute card! The images that pop up are perfectly fun! I love cards you can play with! I'll have to search for directions for making one of these. SCS must have it somewhere.

I've never seen a windshield wiper card before - I'm going to go follow Paige on the journey to find directions!
