Good morning everyone,
I had my head in an old American Stampin Up magazine yesterday, as I was going through stuff with an eye to decluttering a bit. I spied a card with a torn window which I really liked, so I decided to try one myself.
The colours I have used are a bit different for me, but I think they have gelled quite nicely. If there is something that is essential to my work materials, then I would have to be nominating the little stamp from Stamps by Judith...the 3 dots. My, oh my, I love that stamp as a little fill it inner!
I shall be away most of the day as I have to go back into the hospital to keep DH company, but hope to be back in time to put the TV on the Australian Open for the tennis and settle nicely at my art table. I have a few ideas I would like to try, now I have had lots of inspiration from the mags.

I love your torn window and your card. Its been a long time since I've done one. Thanks for renewing my interest.
OH wow, I love this, you did a great job on that window... I love the colors to!
Michelle this is so pretty! I love what you did with the paper framing the image! Thanks for posting on my blog!
I haven't done a torn window in a while - yours looks fantastic! I think the colors really go well together and the flower was the perfect choice to put in the window. I'll have to pull out this technique and give it a try again.
Oooh! This is BEAUTIFUL!!! I was doing some colouring with Orchid Opulence yesterday and think now that I have the marker (doing a marker club with my SU demo) that I might need to get the paper too...this confirms it! (even though your shade isn't orchid opulence)
I love that torn frame around your image. Lovely card.
