Hi people!

I have had my SIL visit all day, so am behind in putting stuff up. Luckily, I made this when I made the previous card, so I still have something to show! No technique here other than colouring with Prisma pencils and smoothing out with odourless solvent...Gamsol is one brand I hear bandied about, but here, in Australia, it is just odourless solvent, found at any good art shop. I got to play with the big bite again.....just to see if it was a fluke the first time...Nuhhh...It WAS still easy to use!

Love the pencils...You can control pencils much more easily than markers, in my opinion. ( Though, I love my markers too.....I still have the old Marvy and Tombow markers. I have 2 Copics but wonder if I need to fork out a whole pile more money whilst the Marvy's and Tombows still have ink in them!) Know hubby would say an unequivocal NO!

I have never used pencils. I have an easier time with markers and I just love copics! But you did a great job coloring. I'm still trying to learn!

You've been tagged! Stop over at my blog and see what your challenge is!

I use Prisma pencils a lot, but I blend them with a baby oil instead of OMS. I just don't like turpentine in the house. Copics are really nice too, but harder to use. In order to take advantage of those, you need few in one colour family so you can see how they blend. Very cute card.

Hi Michelle.
love this set, it's on my wishlist!(Which of course is like 3 pages of A4 lined refil on both sides.lol.) Got my copics, you can check out what I think in my latest post. Wait till your Marvys and Tombows run out to get any more.
I love using coloured pencils with spirit blender, the colouring always looks fab.

Love your coloring Michelle! I use a cleaning solvent (Goo Gone) for mine. I keep meaning to buy some Gamsol (OMS)...but it keeps getting bumped off the list. I like your ribbon too! Is it hot there in AU? Our news here says AU is in a serious heat wave and didn't know if it was where you live.

Well...Tis always hot where I am, in summer, as it is the tropics in North Queensland . However, the heatwave is down south (South Australia and Victoria) and we are missing the 50 degree celcius temps. We have, however, had unending rain. The cyclone has now crossed the coast much to the north and the rain has eased. It is reported that it will belt around inland and then make a nuisance of itself later in the week by going back offshore. Then we get to watch closely again!

Michelle...love the card! Makes me crave a sweet or two! I only dabble a bit in the pencils, but I really like the effect!
